Karmijn de Sonnaville is a Dutch cooking and eating apple with a yellow ground colour overlaid with red flush and russet markings. This large apple with potentially irregular shape was developed in Wageningen and introduced in 1971. It stores well at 4°C for up to 90 days and is suitable for use from October through December.
