Haskell Sweet
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Culinary
Haskell is a large, greenish-yellow apple from Ipswich, Massachusetts, prized for cooking with a sweet, aromatic flavor and tender flesh. The fruit ripens from September through early winter but with uneven maturity across the crop. Though historically noted in horticultural publications, it has become rarely planted and is seldom listed by nurserymen in the early 20th century.
