Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Culinary
An attractive bright red apple that is very firm and ships well. It does not rank high in quality and is less suitable for dessert than for market and culinary uses. The tree is a reliable biennial bearer that comes into bearing rather early, though the fruit and foliage are quite subject to apple scab fungus.
