A fair-sized, conical culinary apple with yellow skin and pale flush, raised as a seedling from Calville Blanche by Mr. Ford at Leonardslee and introduced by W. Paul & Son around 1880. The flesh is tender, white, and sweet, with moderate growth and good fertility. Now obsolete, having been superseded by other varieties.
