Hagloe is an American cooking apple of medium to large size with a pale yellow ground faintly striped with red. The flesh is tender, juicy, and pleasantly subacid, valued chiefly for culinary and market use. It ripens in late August and September, bears abundantly, and comes into bearing relatively young.
