A large, roundish-ovate to conical apple with greenish-yellow skin striped with red, becoming lemon-yellow at maturity. Flesh is yellowish-white, firm, crisp, and juicy with a sugary, aromatic, and pleasantly sub-acid flavor. An excellent culinary apple of finest quality in use from November to April; the tree is hardy, moderate in size, and an excellent bearer.
