A medium-sized, roundish-ovate dessert apple with pale greenish-yellow skin covered in white specks and thick yellow russet. The flesh is very pale yellow, tender, crisp, very juicy, sugary, brisk and richly aromatic. Highly regarded by Lindley for its exceptional juice content; in season during September and October, it was a valued garden variety in Norfolk.
