A medium-sized roundish-ovate dessert apple with greenish-yellow skin almost entirely covered in brownish-grey russet and silvery scales. The flesh is firm, crisp, brisk, sugary, and richly aromatic. In use from December to February, the tree is very hardy and an abundant bearer.
