Dessert
A medium-sized, oblate dessert apple with pale yellow skin striped with crimson in exposed areas, covered with russety spots. The flesh is yellowish white, tender, soft, and juicy with a pleasant, sugary, and perfumed flavor. Considered second-rate quality, it is in use from October to Christmas and is extensively cultivated around Chester.
