Keswick Codlin is a large, conical apple with pale yellow skin and a sunny blush, featuring pale yellow juicy flesh with brisk flavor. One of the earliest culinary apples, it can be used for tarts from late June, reaching peak perfection in August and September. Widely cultivated in 1851 England, the tree is notably vigorous, healthy, and an exceptionally heavy bearer suited to espalier training.
