Manks Codlin is a large, conical apple with greenish-yellow skin turning pale-yellow or bright-red when ripe. It ripens in early August and remains in use through November, prized as a very valuable early culinary apple. The tree is hardy, an early and abundant bearer even at two years old, and well-suited for exposed situations and espalier training.
