Duchess' Favourite is a medium, round, flattened dessert apple with pale yellow skin almost entirely covered in crimson red. The flesh is crisp, yellow, and brisk with a pleasant flavour often tinged with red. Raised by Mr. Cree of Addlestone before 1823, it was largely grown for market use in early 20th-century Britain.
