A dual-purpose apple raised by Mr. Doe at Rufford Abbey and introduced by Messrs. Veitch. Medium to fairly large, round-conical fruit with pale greenish yellow skin and occasional russet, ripening January to March. Firm, rather dry flesh with pleasant flavour and vigorous, spreading growth habit.
