Ingram is a medium to large roundish conic apple with bright greenish-yellow to nearly red coloring, developed from the Rails in Missouri. The flesh is firm, crisp, and juicy with a mild, subacid, aromatic flavor, ranking about with York Imperial in quality. Valued for its exceptional keeping qualities and promising commercial cultivation in the Ozark region.
