An excellent apple of first-rate quality with greenish-yellow skin covered in cinnamon russet and grey dots, medium-sized and slightly conical. The flesh is white, firm, tender, and very juicy with a rich, vinous, sugary, aromatic flavor. It is in use from September to January and is a favorite dessert fruit in Scotland, where it ranks among the best.
