Forester is a large, roundish culinary apple with greenish-yellow skin faintly flushed with brown-red, covered in russet and black dots. The soft, acid flesh makes it suitable for cooking and sauce. A regional favorite in Shropshire and Worcestershire, though of unknown origin.
