Culinary
A large, flattened-round culinary apple with dull yellow skin and russet dots, harvested November to December. The flesh is loose and sub-acid, making it a useful fruit for cooking. Of unrecorded origin, it was introduced by Messrs. Cranstons in 1894 and often reaches enormous size on young trees.
