Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
A medium-sized, roundish-ovate apple with greenish-yellow skin, russet base, and red blush. Firm, crisp, brisk, juicy flesh with pleasant acidity resembling Winter Greening. Culinary apple in use November to February, but of limited commercial value in UK 1851 cultivation.
