Dessert
A dessert apple of first-rate quality, above medium size (2¾ inches wide, 2½ inches high), roundish with slight ribbing. Greenish-yellow with russet markings and a brown russet coating on the sun-facing side. Flesh is yellowish, crisp, tender, with a brisk, sugary, aromatic flavor. In season October to Christmas before becoming mealy.
