Tetofsky
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Culinary
Tetofsky is a Russian apple below medium size with yellow skin striped in crimson, offering sprightly acid flavor suitable for cooking in July and August. The tree is notably hardy, upright, and comes into bearing young with regular crops, making it valuable in colder regions. While it has been widely disseminated particularly in areas requiring superior hardiness, it has never been common in New York and is now seldom planted.
