Suncrisp is a New Jersey-developed apple selected in 1971 and introduced in 1992, bred from Golden Delicious crossed with a Cortland × Cox Orange Pippin hybrid. The fruit has cream-colored, firm, crisp, and juicy flesh with a subacid, aromatic flavor, making it an excellent fresh-eating apple.
