Okabena

Okabena is an autumn apple of modest appearance and quality, originating in Minnesota in 1871 as a cross of Oldenburg and Wealthy. It was tested at the station in 1892 and received recognition by the American Pomological Society in 1899 for use in the Upper Mississippi valley, but has been grown in the East only experimentally and is not recommended for planting in New York.
