Newton Wonder is a yellow apple flushed with red from Derbyshire, England, developed before 1887 and awarded the RHS FCC that year. An excellent cooking apple that breaks down into a juicy, brisk, well-flavoured purée with less acidity than Bramley. Known for prolific bearing and winter harvest capability from mid-October through March.
