Mutsu is a Japanese dessert apple from Aomori Prefecture developed in 1948 as a cross between Golden Delicious and Indo. It is also known as Crispin in the United Kingdom and features aromatic, subacid flesh with crisp texture. The tree is vigorous and the fruit stores well in cold conditions.
