Orin is a large Japanese dessert apple weighing 250–300 grams, developed in Fukushima in 1952 from Golden Delicious and Indo parentage. It offers a distinctive sweet aroma and aromatic, juicy flesh with pineapple notes and firm texture. Typically harvested in late October and stored for consumption through January.
