Louise

Louise is a medium-sized dessert apple from the Fameuse group, smaller and less colorful than either Fameuse or McIntosh. It has pale yellow skin with a lively blush, crisp fine-grained white flesh, and aromatic mild subacid flavor with some McIntosh character. The hardy tree bears young and regularly, but the variety has limited commercial potential and was only moderately disseminated.
