A popular dual-purpose apple developed at Geneva, New York in 1953 and introduced in 1968, resulting from a cross between Golden Delicious and Jonathan. It is widely grown in Europe and commercially sold in the United Kingdom, with medium-sized fruit that stores well at cold temperatures.
