A dessert apple about 2.25 inches in diameter, with pale green skin covered in yellowish-grey russet and a salmon tinge on the sunny side. The flesh is greenish-white, firm and crisp, with plentiful juice of high aromatic Nonpareil-like flavor. Raised from Nonpareil seed around 1821 by Mrs. Goose of Horsham St. Faith's, Norfolk; very hardy and a good bearer, in season November to March.
