Hoary Morning is a large, roundish culinary apple with pale red and crimson striped skin entirely covered in a distinctive hoar-frost-like bloom. The flesh is yellowish-white, tinged with red, brisk, juicy, and rich with slight acidity. It is a second-rate quality variety in use from October to December and was an established commercial cultivar in mid-19th-century Britain.
