A medium-sized, roundish dessert apple with pale greenish-yellow skin heavily covered with red striations. The flesh is crisp, firm, juicy, sweet, slightly acid, and perfumed. In season from December to March, it is of good but not first-rate quality; the tree is healthy, vigorous, and a good bearer.
