Eden is a non-browning Canadian apple developed in 2006 from a cross of 'Linda' and 'Jonamac' by breeder Shahrokh Khanizadeh at AAFC in Quebec. The fruit is juicy, firm, and crisp, making it ideal for fresh slices, salads, dried chips, and processing into juice or cider, with particular suitability for ice cider production.
