Court Pendu Plat is a smallish, flat dessert apple with yellow flesh covered in dull red flush and russet. Known for its exceptionally late flowering habit, which enables it to escape early frosts, making it particularly valuable for cold climates and heavy clay soils. Of ancient origin, possibly dating to Roman times and documented since the sixteenth century.
