Baker Sweet is a golden yellow apple of good size with an attractive appearance. It is sweet and very productive from the tree, but lacks commercial value due to poor keeping quality and tendency to drop readily. The variety is best suited for home orchards seeking a sweet apple for late autumn ripening.
