Bailey Sweet
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Dessert
An attractive red winter apple of good medium to large size, excellent in quality for dessert, baking, and culinary uses. The tree is moderately hardy and usually healthy, though not an early bearer; when it comes into bearing, it is a reliable cropper. The fruit has tough skin, remains crisp and sprightly through storage into April in common storage or May in cold storage.
