Atalanta is a dual-purpose English apple with lemon-yellow skin striped red. Developed before 1891 and introduced in 1893, it was awarded an RHS Award of Merit. This vigorous tree produces fruit suitable for both cooking and fresh eating, harvested in late September through early October for use through January.
