Ball's Pippin is an English dessert apple crossed from Cox Orange and Sturmer Pippin, featuring green-yellow skin with red flush and russet. The flesh is white, juicy, sweet and aromatic, and the tree is notably vigorous. It received an Award of Merit from the RHS in 1923.
