Jazz is a New Zealand dessert apple introduced in 2007, bred from Royal Gala and Braeburn parents. It features bright red skin with subtle yellow under-striping, and combines tart and sweet flavors with a dense, very crunchy texture and distinctive effervescent quality. Widely available in commercial markets, particularly in the UK.
