Pewaukee is a moderately vigorous hardy apple from Wisconsin produced by crossing Oldenburg with Northern Spy. The fruit is above medium to large with fair to good quality suitable for both fresh eating and cooking, featuring a subacid flavor. Though hardy and productive, it lacks sufficient color and market appeal for widespread commercial cultivation in New York.
