Norman's Pippin is a medium, round dessert apple with pale greenish-yellow skin marked by russet and occasional faint flush, maturing January to March. The flesh is firm yet soft with a rich, yellow character and is distinguished by its remarkably long thin stem and distinctive dotting on the fruit surface. Considered a monastic importation of unrecorded origin, it was underutilized in Bunyard's time despite being an excellent variety deserving wider cultivation.
