A small, roundish dessert apple with greenish-yellow to clear yellow skin and orange-red striping on the sun-facing side. The flesh is yellowish-white, firm, crisp, very juicy and sugary with a brisk, rich vinous flavor. A first-rate quality variety that keeps from January to April without shrivelling; the tree is healthy, vigorous, and a good bearer.
