Keepsake is a Minnesota-bred dual-purpose apple introduced in 1978, resulting from a cross made in 1936 and selected in 1947. The fruit is a green apple with red overcolor, offering a sweet, aromatic, crisp and juicy flesh that is suited for both fresh eating and pie-making.
