A fine old dessert apple of first-rate quality with a deep yellow skin tinged and streaked with red, featuring crisp, juicy, rich and sugary flesh. In use from November to April, the Golden Reinette is a healthy, vigorous, and abundant bearer that commands high prices in London markets and has been long esteemed in Britain since at least 1676.
