Golden Pearmain
Dual Purpose
A medium-sized, abrupt pearmain-shaped apple with pale yellow skin marked by russet patches and deep reddish-orange coloring on the sun-exposed side. The flesh is yellowish, firm, crisp, and very juicy with a sweet flavor but lacking acidity, giving it a somewhat sickly taste. Suited to culinary or dessert use and in season from November to March; esteemed as a cider apple in America.
