Exeter Cross is a dessert apple developed at Long Ashton in England from a cross of Worcester Pearmain and Beauty of Bath. First developed in 1924 but not introduced until 1952, it offers a crisp, juicy, sweet flesh and is harvested in early August for immediate use.
