A medium-sized, round apple with deep golden-yellow skin marked by dark-red-brown flush and russet spotting. The firm, yellow flesh is moderately juicy with good flavour, ripening February to April. Introduced by Hillier of Winchester, it is valued for late-winter and spring use.
