1 / 3Dutch Mignonne
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Dual Purpose
Dutch Mignonne is a medium to above-medium apple with a dull orange-yellow appearance and thin red striping. It has firm, crisp, juicy flesh with a subacid, sprightly flavor. While excellent for cooking and good for fresh eating, it has not achieved commercial success in America due to its unattractive color, though it remains recommended for home orchards.
