Cobham
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Dual Purpose
A large, roundish and angular apple with lemon yellow skin tinged with green, red patches near the sun, and russet specks. The flesh is crisp, firm, delicate and juicy with a brisk, sugary flavor reminiscent of Ribston Pippin. It is an excellent culinary variety suited to fresh eating, in season from November to Christmas; the tree is hardy, vigorous, and a good bearer.
