A medium-sized, round autumn apple introduced by R. Ragan of Indiana. The fruit has pale green skin mixed with light red striping and yellow-gray dots, with a white bloom. The flesh is yellowish-white, crisp and granular with a subacid, aromatic flavor rated good to very good. It serves as an acceptable substitute for Rambo.
