Celestia
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Dessert
Celestia is a medium to large apple with yellow skin marbled with pale green, originating from a Stillwater Sweet seedling in Ohio. The flesh is crisp, tender, and juicy with a mild, subacid flavor. Though considered high quality by some growers, its unattractive color and modest productivity make it unsuitable for commercial cultivation, and Beach does not recommend it for New York.
