1 / 2Star of Devon
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Dessert
Star of Devon is a small to medium dessert apple raised by J. Garland in Devon and introduced in 1905, with golden-yellow skin covered in red flush and carmine stripes. The flesh is soft and nearly white but of poor flavour. Despite its attractive appearance, it has proven to have little horticultural merit.
